Throughout the year, the McKee PTA sponsors various assemblies that are held during the school day. In the past, the assemblies have been put on by Carnegie Science Center, Josh&Gab, etc.
McKee Families can help us earn a FREE assembly by linking their Shop 'n Save card to McKee Elementary (Code 319). Then, just swipe your Perks Card anytime you shop at SHOP 'n SAVE and your purchases will be automatically added to your school's total. Once we earn 115,000 points, McKee students will get one free assembly!
On September 20th, 2019, McKee will have their first assembly of the year, put on by the Carnegie Science Center. This is a FREE assembly for McKee, earned through the Shop 'n Save SEED program! Thank you to all that have linked their Shop 'n Save cards to McKee to earn this assembly for the McKee students!
On November 29th, 2018, PTA sponsored an assembly that was a school visit by WTAE's meteorologists, in conjunction with the Carnegie Science Center. They did a one hour weather presentation to get the kids excited about weather and science! In conjunction with WTAE's Project Bundle Up, our Fifth Grade Student Council collect $1250 and presented it to Mike Harvey from WTAE at this assembly!
